Ho Chunk Releases Plans for Madison Expansion

Ho-Chunk Gaming presented its plans for expansion and received approval from the Madison Urban Design Commission last week, as it works its way through the city’s approval process. Plans for the 40-acre site include adding 90,000 square feet to the gaming floor, creation of a Heritage Center to share the Ho-Chunk story, two parking structures, a 41,000 square foot conference center and a five-story hotel, with spa and restaurant. The project is planned in phases according to a report in The Capitol Times, with the construction to begin late 2020 at the earliest.
