Hundreds More Hotel Rooms Set to Open in Fox Cities

The Fox Cities is in the midst of a hotel construction boom with five properties that have recently opened, are under construction or in the development stage. They include:
- Home2Suites by Hilton that opened earlier this month offers 104 rooms.
- Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott that is currently under construction and expected to open later this year in Grand Chute. Property will offer 82 rooms and be located near the Fox River Mall.
- Holiday Inn in Appleton is a 121-room property owned by the Wisco Hotel Group and offers 3,400 square feet of meeting space.
- Holiday Inn Express, also owned by Wisco Hotel Group, under construction and located next to the new Holiday Inn will open in 2020.
- GrandStay in Kaukauna is currently in the initial stages of development and would offer 60 rooms.
These are in addition to the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites that opened in 2018 and a Courtyard by Marriott that opened in 2017.
