New Oak Creek Hotel and Conference Center Development under Consideration

The Oak Creek Common Council was recently presented with a development agreement to consider for a hotel and conference center on a plot of land controlled by Northwestern Mutual, according to TMJ4.

In addition to the new conference center, which can accommodate events with up to 20,000 square feet of meeting space, the hotel would house 125 rooms.

Stand Rock Hospitality, a hotel operator based in Wisconsin Dells, proposed to develop 27 acres of land between Drexel Avenue and IKEA, a furniture and home furnishings retailer, in Oak Creek. The company has other interests in the state, such as Wilderness Resorts and the Hampton Inn and Suites Milwaukee West.
