Kayak Unveils Free Solution for Corporate Travel

Kayak, a travel planning solution that simultaneously searches hundreds of travel sites to locate data to help users make more informed decisions on flights, hotels and rental cars, is now catering to the corporate travel sector.
Approximately 15 years after its initial launch into personal travel, Kayak for Business is open for pre-beta and soon-to-be beta business. Companies that are interested in using the service can request to be added to a waitlist to become a beta user.
“The free tool will function as a meta-engine, showing employees comprehensive options for flights and hotels, with car rentals to be added in the future. Corporate clients load their travel policies and preferred approval flow into the system, so as employees search, they can see which options fall within that policy,” according to PhocusWire.
The company anticipates that most interest is going to stem from small- and mid-size companies and startups in search of free or low-costs tools to help manage travel. Kayak is not going to offer traditional customer service with this product yet.
