Flexible space you need. Exceptional service you want. Unrivaled amenities and team-building colleagues care about.
Nestled in a beautiful lake setting, just an hour drive from Milwaukee or Green Bay, is a AAA Four Diamond resort that offers everything you need to get down to business, or pleasure. The Osthoff Resort features 38,000 square feet of first-class meeting and banquet space, and spacious, tastefully appointed guest suites guaranteed to satisfy groups from 10 to 1,400. All meeting facilities are easily accessible to guest suites, our lakeside restaurants and award-winning Aspira Spa.
While this time has been tough for business professionals, our team of meeting professionals are excited to share the innovation that has come from the limit of in-person events and precautionary hygiene guidelines.
What preparations were made for new hygiene guidelines?
A variety of room setups ensure safe physical distancing for attendees with plenty of space between each person, between tables and in entryways surrounding the room. All of the carpets, furniture and flooring were sanitized, and plexiglass barriers were installed at the front desk registration area. Signage was created and installed throughout the resort to help traffic flow in elevators and remind everyone of safe distances, and safety practices, including the state mandate of face-coverings to be worn when indoors. Hand sanitizer stations can also be found strategically placed throughout the resort.
The resort’s in-house AV partner, PSAV, has developed a program called MEETsafe, which outlines best practices. They are at the forefront of new hygiene guidelines, with particular attention placed on high-touch items like mics, projectors, and wireless presenters. It is time to work those mental muscles and try new things to see what works for your group, based on the space that you desire.
What is different in terms of services?
The conference area dining options have undergone serious consideration and changes. Currently, buffet service has been suspended until it can be done more safely. All group meals are either pre-packaged, with single-use condiments, or plated meals are pre-ordered from the banquet department. Both water and coffee stations are still provided, with the addition of sanitizer and hand wipes available for use.
For safety reasons, meeting rooms will no longer be set with our usual amenities: paper, pens, markers, and candy, however, these items will all be available upon request. We can deliver any of these items right to your meeting room, all sanitized and ready for use.
Take it BEYOND the conference room.
People listen and respond best when they are part of the experience — not a passive onlooker. Improve the experience and participation with group socialization, communication and learning through socially distanced team-building activities. Ask your Meeting Professional about scavenger hunts throughout the wide-open space of The Osthoff Resort, a friendly competition among colleagues in interactive game shows, such as Family Feud or Jeopardy, or step-by-step guided painting workshops from a local artist in spaced out areas of the resort.
Flexible, dedicated, and trained meeting professionals at your service.
